Adopt a Tabby / Maine Coon (medium coat)

Tabby / Maine Coon (medium coat) Cat

Lilly Pad the Cat needs a home

Lilly Pad!

As LillyPad has grown a bit, she resembles a Main Coon mix with her medium hair. She is NOT large like a main coon though. Possibly tabby and domestic medium hair or main coon in her. No telling! She is beautiful though!

We will do a photoshoot soon and try to show her fluffiness. Its hard to tell from our pictures from the parade we went to.

  • About 6 months old now.

  • Medium hair.

  • Very sweet!

  • Litterbox trained!

  • Child friendly

History:

Lilly Pad showed up on a ladies porch when she was just a few weeks old. She was given to another lady to seek help whom gave her to our foster home and she luckily became a Rockers Rescue kitten! Lilly Pad was sick when she was itty bitty and she had a possible tick bourne disease according to the vets. She was a fighter and pulled through! We are so happy to have our Lilly Pad alive and well! Now we are just hunting for her forever family!

This kitten

is to be an indoors kitty. <<< If you are after an indoors/outdoors or outdoors only kitty then this is not the right kitty for you. We can help find one to meet those needs though! Just ask. This particular one...not it. Indoors only. <3

About LillyPad:

Lilly is friendly with other cats and kittens. She has been in a home with a 7 year old child and is child friendly. She also did a great job at her first adoption event the other day! She enjoyed putting her face up to the kennel edge so people would pet her.  Lilly Pad has potential to be dog friendly. Right now she can be shy with them as the fosters dogs stalk the kittens when they come out, so she tends to stray away from them.  She is not very vocal either.

Vetting:

Up to date on vaccinations and rabies vaccine. (Will require next kitten shot series in a few weeks) Kitten has been spayed/neutered.  Dewormed. Tested for Fiv/FeLV/Hw and was negative. Also had many vet check ups and some medication when she was sick as a little kitten. (Vet believed she had a tick bourne disease but she has overcome it now!)  Microchipped
(that fee is included in kittens adoption donation fee. It is a one time fee so no yearly expenses. We will register kitten on our end then you will check your email and check the registration. From there you will get reminders to update your information. Easy peasy)

Will be given 1 month revolution. REVOLUTION protects cats against fleas (
Ctenocephalides felis
), heartworms (
 Dirofilaria immitis
), roundworms (
Toxocara cati
), hookworms (
 Ancylostoma tubaeforme
) and ear mites (
Otodectes cynotis
).

About Applying to Adopt:
This Kitten has a $50 adoption donation fee (microchip fee is included) This fee generally NEVER covers how much we have actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations. Step1: email [email protected] and tell us that you will be filling out an application. Step 2: fill out an app at www.adoptapet.com/rockersrescue/catadoptionapp/     Please be truthful when filling out your app and include as much information as possible.

We also do not approve of declawing. We request that you research that. We have seen many cases where cats become irritable or stop using the litter box etc. and people try to surrender them to us.
